Will Jack Robinson is the Film Maker and Motion Graphics Animator behind Submarine Creative. Motion and film is his passion and he uses these mediums to tell stories and deliver messages. Producing motion and film for brands like FitBit, Specsavers and Penguin book publishers. Top ranking sportsmen such as Bradley Wiggins, professional musicians such as Jamie Morrison of the Stereophonics, Jamie Lawson, Tom Fletcher and Giovanna Fletcher. Collaborated with the Observatory on brands such as St.DuPont, Fiskars and Visit Jersey.
Tell us about your path to setting up your business and what motivated you?
I want to make videos and films that affect people and make a positive difference, whether that is a documentary or a wedding video that is what I want to do.
How do you work and what is a typical day like for you?
Always starts with coffee and from then it is very much dependent on the project I am working on, could be anything!
What are the best parts about your business?
I love what I do, if it wasn't my job it would be my hobbie.
What has been your greatest struggle as a business owner so far?
Being a business owner, as a creative this can take a bit of getting used too!
What has been your biggest a-ha moment so far?
Learning that there really is enough work out there for everyone.
Do you have any advice for other small business owners?
Get to know other creatives, its much more fun to collaborate rather than compete.
