Five years ago I was given the opportunity to follow a dream. Living on the small but beautiful island of Jersey, it gave me the opportunity to use my Canon 5D MKIII and share a moment in time that I capture through my lens and share with other like minded people who love photography. My camera usually has a wide-angle Zeiss lens permanently attached. The Island’s landscape lends itself to photography, Jersey hosts its own micro-climate and has been known to throw every weather pattern at me throughout the day. The light, calm seas and barmy days are never the same. Your guaranteed to capture something different each time i go out. I try and bring emotion and creativity to my images and strive to get my composition right. My passion for photography has taken me to different countries and lets me share the variety of new places I have been to. Chasing the light and keeping an eye on the weather is always key.

Tell us about your path to setting up your business and what motivated you?

I was approached via my Facebook page by someone unknown to me who had seen my work, they asked if i would like to select a range of my images and to display them. A local retailer in St Helier selected her favourites to sell in her outlet, that was 3 years ago and I am still there today! This gave me the motivation to go forward and approach other retailers and not look back.

How do you work and what is a typical day like for you?

No two day's are the same. I work alone and love the isolation this adventure gives me. I can be out and about with my camera one day, the next at my desk post processing, developing and mounting my images for sale.
